Today, we employ around 300 employees – and as cybercrime grows, we need to grow. To support that goal, we are now looking for a Team Manager who wants to make a difference in our Managed Services Team.
Managed Security Services
Truesec helps customers globally with Attack Prediction Services, Vulnerability Management Services and Managed Detection & Response services for IT and OT environments. Our services are all delivered by skilled security analysis teams that conducts 24/7 attack monitoring, threat hunting, threat intelligence analysis, and threat remediation. Our team of experts works tirelessly to identify and prevent cyber breaches, and to help increase our customers’ proactive cybersecurity defenses. Our goal is to be an extension of our customers’ IT organizations, customizing a combination of capabilities and tooling, tailored to prevent cyber attacks in the most efficient way.
The Role
As SOC Analyst Team Manager, your purpose is to lead and engage a highly skilled team of shift working security analysts who are assigned with the crucial assignment to keep our customers safe from cyber threats – 24/7 every day, non-stop.
As a Team Manager you ensure and enable competence development with continuous training in tech, tools, methods and processes and as well as being up to date on the latest cyber threats and techniques. But also develop and engage the team and individuals to take initiative, make decisions and feel confident in their roles as SOC Analysts.
The Team Manager has full staff responsibility and lead the team’s operative work by directing team functions and processes warranting for the team’s delivery and effort is efficient, qualitative, at capacity and aligned with strategic objectives. Of course also with focus on compliance with agreements and process adherence. The role requires customer contact as team representative. A part of the assignment is reviewing processes and initiating improvements to strengthen the Security Operations Framework and drive continuous improvement for the team, across functions and to further develop the SOC and Truesec.
You will be a part of a leadership team working with passion to develop a next level SOC and foster expert analysts. With a strong business acumen, you take ownership of your team’s budget and make sure you contribute to the overall performance and objectives of the entire SOC.

You will collaborate and work in close cooperation with Head of SOC/Site Manager, SOC team managers and other key stakeholders within Truesec.

Preferably you have experience in 24/7 service delivery and experience of forming changes in teams in accordance with an understanding of a holistic view. As we develop continually in a rapid speed it is important to understand and support your team in how to carry out the daily operation, and at the same time adapt the team to new changes.

Required Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role or position within IT/Tech
• Manager and Leadership experience
• Ability to handle high pressure situations
• Good structural and analytical skills
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
Bonus Skills:
• Experience in a 24/7 delivery function
• Experience within a detect & disarm product
• Experience in recruitment/staffing
• Project and Change Management
Due to the sensitivity in our assignments, we perform a security vetting and require Swedish citizenship or citizenship in an EU country.
