Truesec, a leading provider of cybersecurity services in the Nordics, is now launching MDR Black. MDR Black is a solution that includes both monitoring of IT environments and incident and breach management. It is a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service where the Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for preventing intrusion attempts and stopping potential breaches in the monitored customer environments. With MDR Black, companies can focus on their core business while Truesec manages cyber threats.
About MDR Black:
- Increased cost control: Typically, customers bear the costs if their SOC misses to stop an intrusion attempt and incident response services are required. With MDR Black, specialized incident response services are included to stop and limit damage in the event of a breach.
- We take responsibility: If a customer suffers a breach via a monitored device, specialized Incident Response services are included at no extra cost.
- The customer’s interest is Truesec’s interest: With MDR Black, the customer and Truesec share a common goal – to prevent breach and minimize impact from breach.

Results and successes: From January to September 2024, Truesec has successfully prevented over 15,300 intrusion attempts in our monitored customer environments. This demonstrates the high level of protection and efficiency that our solution offers.
Truesec has previously redefined the SOC industry with Northern Europe’s first Extended Detection and Response-focused SOC and now continues to lead the development with MDR Black.
