At Truesec, we strive for an open corporate culture with high ethical standards based on respect and cooperation. Truesec’s employees, business partners, and other stakeholders are encouraged to report misconduct that affects people, our organization, society, or the environment.

What Is Misconduct?

Misconduct means any conditions in violation of:

  • Laws and regulations.
  • Written ethical guidelines of the company.
  • Ethical standards with broad support in society

Some typical examples are:

  • Corruption and financial irregularities, such as bribery, price cartels, money laundering, and fraud.
  • Health and safety, such as health and safety at work, product safety, serious discrimination, harassment, and racism.
  • Environmental protection violations; for example, illegal management of hazardous waste.
  • Privacy violations; for example, improper use of personal data.

How Do I Report Misconduct?

Before reporting a concern, we would like to draw your attention to the following: 

  • Notice that by using a phone or a computer that is owned by Truesec, all metadata is stored for general security reasons. To ensure true anonymity, a non-Truesec device should be used.
  • Notice that a message sent from another country outside the EU might be subject to different legislation, thus not providing the same privacy and personal data protection.

  • The reporting channel is delivered by our external partner, WhistleB, to ensure anonymity. The reporting process is encrypted and password protected.
  • The report is sent easily and securely by following the instructions on the form. When you send the report, you will receive a personal ID and password on the screen. These must be stored safely. You remain anonymous throughout the dialogue. The case is handled by Truesec’s internal administrators of the whistleblowing service, and you’ll receive a response to your report within seven working days.

Protection and Privacy

A person expressing genuine concern or suspicion does not risk losing their job or being subjected to any sanctions or personal inconvenience. This applies even if it turns out that the whistleblower was wrong, provided that they acted in good faith.

Subject to consideration of the privacy of the accused and any other confidentiality issues, whistleblowers will be kept informed of the outcome of investigations into allegations.

In cases of alleged criminal acts, the non-anonymous whistleblower will be informed that their identity may need to be revealed during legal proceedings.
